Rick and Kelley Stonke are the proud owners of Kodiak Sportsman’s Lodge and are thrilled to be carrying its tradition forward. They first became partners in the lodge in 2017, and their experience and connection to Kodiak have made ownership an especially meaningful next step. Rick has lived in Alaska since 1969 and has hunted and fished on Kodiak Island since 1985. He has been both a guest and friend of the lodge since 2006. After 25 years of being self-employed in Anchorage, he is excited to embrace this new chapter.
Kelley came to Alaska in 1980 with her family and met Rick shortly after. She has served as the lodge’s Financial Controller since 2007 and is equally excited to help guide its future as an owner. Rick and Kelley have always loved the outdoors and have passed that passion on to their 3 children and 6 grandchildren. They are honored to continue the legacy of Kodiak Sportsman’s Lodge and share the beauty and adventure of Kodiak Island with every guest.
Caden Peterson – Guide
Caden was born in Anchorage and raised in Old Harbor. He has been guiding for Kodiak Sportsman’s Lodge since 2018! Caden is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain and commercial fisherman. He loves to spend his free time working on vehicles, hunting, and fishing.
Wesley Christianson – Guide
Wesley was born and raised in Old Harbor. He has been guiding for Kodiak Sportsman’s Lodge since 2014! Wesley is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain and licensed assistant hunting guide. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and crabbing and he likes to spend his free time with his girlfriend and son
